How we got such a big camera upgrade to fit:

We designed an all-new architecture and rotated the lens 45 degrees to fit our best dual camera system ever - with its largest wide camera sensor. We also made room for our sensor-shift optical image stabilization. And we equipped the ultra wide-angle camera with a faster sensor.

Cinematic mode automatically creates beautiful depth effects and focus transitions:

Just start recording and the cinematic mode will keep the focus on your subject while creating a beautiful depth of field effect around them. Cinematic mode can also anticipate when a prominent new subject is about to enter the scene and automatically shift focus when it does. Now you can easily create videos that look like movies.

You can even adjust the depth effect after shooting:

Want to change focus or adjust blur after shooting? No problems. Iphone lets you do this with a few taps and swipes. Even professional film cameras can't do that.

Night mode:

Night mode detects low-light scenes and automatically adjusts to take bright, clear photos with incredibly rich colors.

Portrait mode:

Portrait mode artistically blurs the background to put the focus on your subject. You can experience six creative lighting effects with one touch.

Smart HD 4:

Smart HDr 4 now recognizes up to four different people in a scene and optimizes contrast, lighting and even skin tones for each. So everyone looks their best.

Deep Fusion:

Deep Fusion is activated in medium to low light scenes. It analyzes multiple exposures pixel by pixel to capture the most subtle textures, patterns and details.

The ultra-wide camera:

The Ultra Wide camera gives you a wide field of view, even when you're up close to what you're photographing. So you can capture more of the scene without backtracking.

Memories:

Memories are automatic slideshows created from significant moments in your photo library. Customize them with your own look - or even a soundtrack from your music library.
